I think the benefit of using AI is more about elevating the average writers and illustrators as opposed to perfecting the work of masters (similar to how photoshop, runway and autopilot helps improve the workflow for the average users).

I agree with your vision of a human-created narrative, with everything else having the possibility of it being automatically generated by AI. This probably wasn't the case back in June 2022 when I first wrote this article, but with the advent of AutoGPT, I feel that we're getting there quite soon.
